Our Attendance Target

Our whole-school attendance target is 96%.

We encourage all children to aim for this target or above, as regular attendance has a significant impact on learning, wellbeing and future success.

Celebrating Great Attendance

We love celebrating children who make attendance a priority.

• Children who achieve 96% attendance or above by the end of each term are awarded a special Attendance Star to wear proudly on their school collar during our celebration assembly.
• Children who achieve 100% attendance for the term are entered into a raffle to win a hamper full of surprises as a reward for their outstanding commitment to school.

Keeping Parents Informed

Attendance is included on your child's termly school report, helping families to keep track of attendance throughout the year.

Working Together

If your child's attendance falls below 94%, we will contact you to discuss any barriers to attendance and explore how we can work together to improve it.

Our aim is always to support families. We understand that there are times when children may need additional help, and we will work with parents and carers to identify the right support so that every child can attend school regularly and enjoy all that Fatfield Academy has to offer.
