Breakfast Club

There are 2 options of breakfast club each day:

Rainbow Club

This is available from 7.45-8.45 daily and is based in our Out of Hours room. Mrs Elliott and Mrs McCarthy run this club and provide a daily breakfast as outlined below. Each session costs £4 and must be booked in advance. Once children have finished breakfast, they can play with the games, toys and crafts available.

Government Funded breakfast Club

We are very happy to offer a Government Funded Breakfast Club. This is open to all children from 8.30 each morning and does not need to be booked in advance. Children enter school through the main Reception area and make their way down to the School Hall where a choice of breakfasts are served. Children can also choose to sit on the picnic tables outside for their breakfast. This club is run by a Mrs Hamblett.

 

After School Club

Our after-school wrap around provision is called the Rainbow Club. This is based in our Out of Hours room and is run by Mrs Hamblett and Mrs McCarthy. There are three different options available:

• 3 o’clock club – This provision is for Nursery children to play until their siblings finish school at 3.30. The charge is £2 per day and must be booked in advance. Children have a selection of toys and activities available. They will be given a drink of milk and some fruit.
• 1 hour of childcare from 3.30 to 4.30 at cost of £4 per session which must be booked in advance. Children will have a sit down meal and access to a variety of activities.
• 2 hours of childcare from 3.30 to 5.30 at cost of £8 per session which must be booked in advance. Children will have a sit down meal and access to a variety of activities.

 

Each night we will have a family style ‘picky-tea’ which will include a selection foods. Typical choices will include wraps, sandwiches, pitta breads, rice cakes, carrot and cucumber sticks, cheese and crackers, fruits and yoghurts. Fridays are our treat day when we have a weekly pizza party and cosy up to watch a movie together.

Our menus are carefully planned to meet the School Food Standards and we have robust procedures in place to manage food allergies and dietary requirements.

 

'Rainbow' is our wraparound pet. The children learn how to care for her and enjoying playing together.
