Year 3 Trip More events...
  • Year 3 TripWe are excited to take children in Year 3 on a trip to the Discovery Museum on Monday 3rd November. Children will explore forces linked to their science topic. Children will leave school at 9.15am and will return before the end of the school day. Children will need to wear their uniform for this trip and will need a packed lunch for the day. If your child is eligible for means tested Free School Meals, a school packed lunch will be provided. Admittance to the venue is £120 and the coach is £350. Because of this, we are asking for a payment of £15.20 per child. Unfortunately, if we do not receive enough payments to cover the cost of the trip, we may have to cancel it. Payments can be made online on the Sunderland Council website or in cash at the office. Please can all payments be made by Monday 27th October. Please note, the Nissan Workshop in October is not a trip. Nissan will be coming into school to deliver the workshop and this is free of charge. If you are available on 3rd of November and would like to be a parent help, please contact Miss Lloyd.

Year 6 Trip - Beamish More events...
  • Year 6 Trip - BeamishYear 6 Trip - Beamish We are excited to take children in Year 6 on a trip to Beamish on Wednesday 5th November. Children will leave school at 9.15am and return to school by 3.15pm. Children will be completing exploring the museum and will be taking part in a workshop related to their World War topic. Children will need a packed lunch for this trip, unless they are eligible for means tested Free School Meals, in which case a school packed lunch will be provided. Children will need to wear their correct uniform and a warm coat. The cost of the venue is £290 and the cost of the coach is £250. Because of this, we are asking for a payment of £17 per child for the trip. Payments can be made online on the Sunderland Council Website, or we can take cash payments at the school office. Please note, if we do not receive enough payments to cover the cost of the trip we may have to cancel it. Please can we have all payments by Friday 24th October. Children will need a bike and a helmet to take part. You are welcome to leave bikes on the school grounds, children can leave them in the hall overnight or can take them home each day.   • NHS flu nasal vaccine09:00 - 11:30The school nursing team will be in school to administer the nasal flu vaccine Dear Parents/ Carers, We have received the below letter from the NHS Immunisation Team. Nasal and Intramuscular Flu Vaccination Consent Form Your child is due to have their flu vaccine. The school session is booked for 19/11/2025. The vaccine helps protect your child from flu. Flu can make people feel very unwell and can be serious. The vaccine also helps stop flu spreading to family and friends. Most children will get the nasal spray. Some children may need the injection instead. This might be because of health, religion, or diet. Please choose which one you want your child to have on the consent form.
