World Book Day Forrest Crafts Band ASC - Invite only More events...
  • World Book DayDear Parents and Carers, On Thursday 5 March, we will be celebrating World Book Day. We invite all children to come to school dressed as their favourite book character or author. During the day, children will take part in a range of activities linked to this year’s theme, The National Year of Reading 2026, celebrating the joy and importance of reading. You may have seen our recent Facebook post highlighting that Washington Library is running a World Book Day Costume Exchange. Costume donations can be made from 2 February, with collections available from 23 February. We look forward to a fun and inspiring day for all.

Year 1 Trip Mindfulness Club Lego club More events...
  • Year 1 Trip12:30 - 15:30We would like to inform parents that children in Year 1 will be visiting Newcastle Reform Synagogue on Monday 9th March 2026 to support their current RE topic. The visit aims to: Explore Jewish traditions Understand the role of the synagogue Gain insight into Jewish history and culture Children will leave school at 12:30pm and will return before the end of the school day. Children can have lunch in school as normal before the visit. We kindly ask that children wear their correct school uniform for the trip. The cost of the coach is £275, and we are therefore requesting a contribution of £9.20 per child. Please ensure all payments are made by 23rd February. Unfortunately, if we do not receive sufficient donations, we may be forced to cancel the trip. We will also require parent helpers for this visit. If you are able to help, please contact Miss Lloyd on 01914 166728. Thank you for your continued support.
