Year 1 Trip Winter Gardens More events...

Year 1 Trip Winter GardensDear Parents and Carers, We are delighted to be taking Year 1 to the Winter Gardens on Monday 8th June. During the visit, the children will take part in an immersive dinosaur adventure where they will listen to stories, explore fossils, enjoy creative dinosaur-themed activities, and follow dinosaur and fossil trails around the gardens. Inspired by the work of Mary Anning and David Attenborough, the trip will encourage curiosity about prehistoric life and help to develop the children’s observation and enquiry skills. The total cost of the trip is £346.80, which includes coach travel and venue admission. We are therefore asking for a contribution of £11.50 per child. Please note that if we do not receive enough contributions, we may unfortunately be forced to cancel the trip. Payments should be made via ParentPay or in cash at the school office no later than Monday 1st June. Children should wear their correct school uniform for the trip. School will provide a packed lunch; however, you are welcome to send additional snacks if you wish. If you would like to volunteer as a parent helper for the trip, please contact the school office or speak to Miss Fletcher. Thank you for your continued support.

EYFS Trip Lumley Castle More events...

EYFS Trip Lumley CastleWe are delighted to be taking our Nursery and Reception children on a visit to Lumley Castle on Friday 26th June. The purpose of the visit is to help the children discover and learn about the features of castles and the people who lived in them. Children will leave school at approximately 9:45am and will return before the end of the school day. Nursery children will need to bring a packed lunch. Reception children will be provided with a school packed lunch. The total cost of the trip, including coach hire and venue fees, is £975. We are therefore asking for a contribution of £15per child. Payment will be available via ParentPay. We are sure the children will have a wonderful day and gain lots of valuable learning experiences from the visit. Thank you for your continued support.
